Professional Speakers, Mentors, and Partnerships
The MHS STEM Academy mentoring program connects students with post-secondary programs and professional career opportunities. Professional mentors and speakers are scheduled on campus throughout the school year to connect with students and provide enrichment opportunities. In addition, students have the opportunity to shadow professional mentors while being exposed to career avenues in STEM fields. These relationships help academy students to understand what real professionals do in their workplace, while offering pathways to potential career opportunities and post-secondary educational institutions.

Co-Curricular Extensions
The MHS STEM Academy offers numerous co-curricular experiences meant to extend learning and passions outside of the general classroom. Clubs, competitions, and workshops are embedded in the academy experience as an avenue to engage student's passions and hobbies. These programs are used to strengthen skill sets, provide real-world experiences, and build professional connections that transcend the academic classroom.
